Wordle - Beautiful Word Clouds

Fun thing, click on the image to see it larger.

“Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends. ” (from wordle.net)

houses

The sides of these houses is something that draws my attention everyday. The way the light bounces between the walls and makes the facades glow. I didn’t capture that with this drawing but I like it anyways. I did it with ink and and the kids Watercolour Crayons (Faber Castell).

Everyday in May?

I recently bought a Moleskine. The first for me. A large plain notebook. I like it and so far one or two pages a day. Everyday in May. Just have to fill it up so I can try the sketchbook! :)

This first is from two days ago, a wooden thing where you are supposed to get the loop free from the frame. Maybe a saw would do the trick.

Yesterday evening I draw this one. It is our herbs in our yard. View from the children bedroom (if you stand on the toes and lean forward a bit)

Vadstena castle

This is obviously not the whole castle. Just the top of a part of it.

I just have to show you the candy tree at lunch.

Sleepy Sunday

This morning I stayed in bed until eight! Some might say that eight is a bit early for a Sunday morning but since my youngest usually wakes me around 5.30 it was fantastic! After some decluttering attempt I took my five years old with me and drove towards Vadstena. The restaurant “Ladugård 206″ was open and we went there for lunch. It is a fantastic place, i have heard about it but this was the first time there for me. It is an old barn, with a restaurant, art exhibition and a part where you can buy delicacies to take home.
I ate so much and so tasty. The daughter finished before me so I sent her down to the play area were they had a lollipop tree! She made friends with some other kids and I got time to draw and drink my coffee. We sat outside so this is a bit of the front wall.

apple tree

This is an old apple tree outside. I drew this tonight from the kids bedroom window when they fell asleep. Sounds like the perfect evening, and surely the time with the pen was well needed after one hour of evening chaos.

Some new ones

This morning I was a bit early to the bus, so I had the time to draw the bus-stop at the other side of the road.

This is a woven picture that my grandmother has done. The weft is torn fabric, and I have spent hours looking at it when I was younger.

some old ones

This is some old ones. This pillow is one of grandmother Elisabeth’s work.

I did this when we was on vacation earlier and tried to post it here via the camera in my cellphone. Didn’t work but I can show you the picture here because the actual pillow is in the background.

During Easter I met with my brother and his family and I drew one of his fantastic slipper (feel free to give me a better word in english, it’s not a sock, it is?).
It is done by the hands of another talented Elisabeth. I have a pair as well, without button and different colors, haven’t drawn them yet.

This last one is an aerovane made by my uncle. His name is Göte Friman and he is a talented wood artist/craftsman. He has a lot of photos of his work and workspace for those who like to take a look. http://www.friman.cc/gf/ Just click on the links “Bilder 1″ (=pictures 1) “Bilder 2″ (=pictures 2) and so on.
