This is my old alarm clock. Have had it for ever. Or at least since I was ten.
I have my sketchbook with me when it is time for my daughter to sleep. First I read something for her and we talk about the day and after that she want me to sit with her until she is asleep. A good time to practice.
At first I thought about drawing my bike down in the storage room. But I don’t exercise a lot nowadays. The last time I used it was a year ago and I had to stop because the pregnancy gave me a lot of pain in the bones of the pelvis.
Later I bought this big green ball to sit on for comfort and to strengthen my muscles with. I still use it everyday, not for exercises but to rock the baby. It is a great green rocking chair ball.

While my coffee got a bit colder I took three papers and three different drawing things, charcoal, pen and pencil.
A really quick one. Or three.

My brush. Really big, holds a lot of water. My favorite!

During this week I have learn that a power plug is hard for me to really see.
In my mind we had just a few different kinds of power plugs, some with connection to ground and some without. Some narrow and some bigger. And then I sat down and started to sketch. I saw all the work the plug designers had done. But my plug in my mind is still strong and I have struggled with a few sketches from different power plugs in our apartment. Another problem is that the cord is strong and moves the plug slowly if it has been moved recently.
This is the first attempt.

This bar of soap was a small gift to my daughter from my mother after her trip to Paris. My daughter barely use it.. maybe even has forgotten it completely, but I love this particular bar. I keep it by the zink where she left it two months ago. Gives the kitchen duties some flair. Private import from Paris!

These flowers stood right under a lamp and the light gave them a transparent look.
