In the basement of one of the buildings where I live we can do our laundry in a common laundry room. There is also one room to hang your stuff to dry and a really big room to iron and to mangle the laundry in. We don’t use it a lot because we have a washing machine in our apartement as well, but sometimes I go down there. Yesterday I sat down besides the really big and noisy fan and tried to look at the flapping blankets and sheets.
The first sentence me and a lot of other Swedish kids learned in English was/is “I buy pink sheet”. The sounds have a different meaning in every Swedish speaking five/six years old minds. “Ouch, poo, wee-wee, shit”. Just wanted you to know!

Yesterday I took a walk with the kids. The youngest fell asleep in the baby-sling and I sent the oldest in different directions to pick some flowers for me to draw. I sat in the sun with my pen and journal just feeling good. I had a small plastic see-trough jar with me and she caught a spider to draw. She did it first and then I had a go before we let it run again.
Suddenly we discovered three chantarelles and we decided to go home again and pack for a trip to the woods. I had the family patiently wait for me while I gave the flowers some color.
Big hugs to everyone who left me comments on the chicken artist wonder ponder. As I wrote that text I saw things in my actions and thoughts that made my confidence grow, amd my will to get rid of some bad thinking. When I read what you wrote I grow slightly more. I have a long way ahead of me but just now I feel good about myself.
