soup
Last week we celebrated Lucia. At our nursery they had the most adorable show and after that we had “fika” (coffee, gingerbread and some soft buns with saffron).
After that we had salmon soup with saffron and then carrot cake and cardamum ice cream for dessert. I prepared the soup earlier that day and when I had peeled the vegetables I just had to sketch them. Never came around to add some color until today.

Oooh, delicious! I often find myself distracted in the kitchen by the beauty of the vegetables or fruits I’m preparing. In fact I have bought beautiful produce just to draw and paint it. Keep up the good work.
